Hey Mum, bet you NEVER thought you'd hear me say that one.
We are BUYING A CO OP! We made an offer and it was accepted. We are now in the process of reviewing contracts, finalizing a mortgage, having inspections, etc. It is VERY stressful. BUT we love the place, it's a good size, 2 bedrooms and it's in the neighborhood. The price was unbelievable which is also a big draw!
I also finished my baby registry this weekend at babies R us. Can you say PINK? I really love the stuff we chose (we being Me with Jeanne-Marie's help). Pete did say he'd come, but really, he hates shopping and what fun would that be. So now i know that the walls in the Mia and Lily's room will be PINK. Pale pink to be exact. The set that we chose is mostly pink and green with some other colors splashed in there. Lots of hearts and ballet slippers and crowns... It's great. Check it out.
One thing i cannot beleive? How freaking much breast pumps cost. Seriously. It's insane. But the thought of using one that someone else used, really scheeves me right out. And being that i'll be back at work after 2 months means lots of pumping in my future. So I got the double electric. Does both at once. I'm all about being efficient.

Work
So I've been having discussions with my boss about after the babies come. It looks like, we are going to try for 3 days a week, 60% salary with full benefits. That is what my boss is going to go to his boss with. Who will in Turn go to HR. I can't even imagine having to leave them 3 days a week, but i guess it's so much better than full time! The salary cut will suck as well, but as most of you will hear about soon, i've begun a new business venture that is totally working from home, so depending on how much that brings me, it'll definitely help! Also, the cost of full time day care is rediculous, so this will help with that as well.
Everyone keep you fingers crossed that HR approved this!!!

We're all Perfect, but we already knew that..
The girls are perfect. Yep, that's right, the girls. It's definite! Both girls heart rates and movement are perfect. Size? Perfect. Also, my size, weight gain and blood pressure are perfect. Monday went really well. I'll be having my level 2 sono at my next appointment in about a month.
I discussed my birth options with the doctor and he once again has stressed that he feels that the safest route with twins is a scheduled cesarean so that is probably how we're going to go. He did say however that we should first worry about getting me past 34 weeks. THEN we can worry about the birth. So that's where i'm at. Putting my feet up as often as possible and drinking LOTS of water. I'm just so happy and releived that they are both doing great.
Here are the latest pics, check out baby A sucking her thumb. She kept trying while we were watching and kept missing at first. You can't tell in the pics, but the U/S tech couldn't get over how they are staying so close together. They've got all this room to move around still but they choose to stay right on top of each other..
