I cannot beleive that a year has passed. Lily and Mia turned 1 on Saturday and we had a big party to celebrate.

It's so amazing to see how much they've changed and grown. They are such a miracle and an amazing blessing. They bring joy to each day in our lives as well as the lives of everyone they touch. So many people have done so much for us in the past year and I wish there was some way we could thank them, I just hope they know.

I'm going to start with a couple pictures from their birth day, then some from the big 1 princess party..

11 months old

Oh how the time flies. One month until Lily and Mia turn 1. It is unbelievable. They bring me so much joy every day. They really are amazing. Not much is new since my last update. They are pulling themselves up all over the place and starting to cruise around. They are really getting into everything now!

We dressed them as skunks for halloween. Here are some pics..

10 months, 2 weeks

Say what? My girls will be 1 year old in under 6 weeks. I just can't fathom it. This year has gone by SO fast. It's unreal. Anyways, they are doing great as always. Lily has 2 top teeth and 3 bottoms. Mia has 4 top teeth and 2 bottoms. They are both crawling ALL OVER THE PLACE and pulling up to standing whenever they can grab something. When we put them in their cribs they pull themselves up and chat and laugh and smile and dance with/at each other. It's very cute, but kind of difficult to get them to sleep. They're actually on somewhat of a nap strike these days. Hopefully it'll end soon. Between the teething, and the colds they caught from me, which I caught from Lisa and Ali, we have had some stressfull times, but they are so good and cheerful, that I just feel bad for them when they are crabby.

They are both great clapper, and clap whenever they hear clapping or the words clap hands, or people cheering. They both love to dance and will dance whenever asked or whenever they hear music. Mia sais hi with a big wave, Lily just waves and smiles hugely.

9 months, 2 weeks

The girls had their 9 month dr's visit yesterday. Lily is now 16lbs 13oz and 27 1/2 inches long. She's the 20th percentile for weight and the 50th for height. Mia is 15 lbs 13 oz and 27 1/4 inches long. She is the 10th percentile for weight and 50th for height. The doc said it is likely that they will be taller than mommy some day. They are both doing fabulously. We dropped a bottle starting today, so now they get 2 8oz bottles a day and we are increasing the solids they get. So far so good today.

They both now have their 2 top teeth coming in, which has been tough. One of Mia's has finally popped through but we've still got 3 to go... Yuck!

8 Months, 2 weeks

So my girls both have 2 teeth now! They're 2 bottom front teeth. They're so grown up. I can't handle it! They are doing really great with the eating different consistencies these days. They had scrambled egg yolks last week and ate them great and they are now eating sweet potato puffs pretty good. We started white potatoes today and we'll start avocado thursday. This is the one first food we haven't had yet. Here are some pictures from the last week..

Sorry it's been a while, but we are a little busy around here. 2 Babies and all. (Lisa)

The girls are doing really good, they are sitting on their own now, and they get on their hands and knees and rock, so I think we'll see some crawling very soon. They really love their bounce-A-Roo, especially Lily who gets crazy jumping like a crazy baby...

We have now stopped taking the prevacid for their reflux, and so far so good. Thank goodness! The girls love to eat their solids and so far have not had a single alergic reaction.

7 months old

Not much new to report. The girls are 7 months old now, it's really unbelievable! Here are a couple pictures from Pete's 30th birthday party..

6 months, 3 weeks

The girls had their 6 month doctors visit today. A couple weeks late. We switched pediatricians and I really like the new one. Lily is now 25 3/4 inches long and weighs 14 lbs, 8 ounces and Mia is 25 1/4 inches and weighs 13 lbs, 6 ounces. They are both perfectly on schedule with all of their milestones and are all in all perfect. But we already knew that.

They are both starting to sit on their own, for about 10 seconds or so at a time. They are such happy girls.
