5 months, 3 weeks

What a difference 5 months makes..

here are Mia and Lily, 6 days old..

Lily and Mia 5 months, 3 weeks old

Mia and Lily are doing great. We have had a rough couple weeks/months. The girls reflux acted up bigtime and the Zantac wasn't helping so we switched them to prevacid. We switched them to soy formula at the same time, which we hoped would be gentler on their tummies. Unfortunately it made the constipation, which we had under control, really bad. We have now seemingly turned the corner. They're going to the bathroom again, and the prevacid seems to be working great!
They're both close to sitting up on their own and are rolling over with ease when they want. They discovered their feet last week and love to grab them and try and try to eat them.

They smile and laugh all the time, and still they LOVE singing!

Here are some new pictures from the last couple of weeks...

5 Months old

My girls are growing up. Right before my eyes. They are both teething, hard core. Mia's 2 bottom teeth are about to pop through. Lily is having some troubles with her tummy. These are leading to some difficult days, but we manage. They are such happy girls most of the time so it's really hard to see them so miserable some of the time.

They are both laughing all the time now and they LOVE singing. We sing ALOT! When they start to fuss, all I have to do is bust into another round of "Little bunny foo foo", "Itsy Bitsy spider" or "Sarah the whale" and they turn to laughs and smiles. They have mastered sticking out their tounges and doing rasberries. They both are able to roll over, but Mia does it much more often than Lily.

We have moved them into their own room at night. Just this past saturday. They were fine with it, but it was really hard on me. They are still in the same crib and it's really cute to see them cuddle with each other. We have also moved up to 3-6 month clothes, although some of the 0-3's still fit them.

Here are some pics from the last couple of days...
