32 Weeks, 1 Day

Had my latest appointment on Thursday. First my doctor gave me my first of 2 steroid injections to help mature the girls lungs, just in case. It was the most painful shot i've ever had in my life. Seriously big needle and bad burny steroids. Wouldn't do it again for myself, but it's for the girls. Had my 2nd one yesterday. It was just as bad. Then I had my ultrasounds. As I thought, Mia caught up to Lily. Lily is now weighing in at 4 lbs, 5 ounces; Mia at 4 lbs. Both girls are still doing great. Good fluid levels, and blood flow in the umbilical cords. I was disturbed to find out that at some point in the past, they thought they had seen an abnormality in one of the girls abdomens. It is no longer there and they thing it was probably just the bowel or something, but i'm really bothered by the fact that they did not mention it to me. Needless to say i'm not going back to THEM. That was the high risk people. I'm going to still with the ultrasound tech with my doctor for my final 1 or 2 appt's. My next appt is on Thursday the 9th of November. My C section is currently scheduled for 10 am the following tuesday, the 14th. If all is still going great at the next appt, we will cancel that c section and reschedule for 10 to 14 days later. Either the day after thanksgiving or the following tuesday. We really cannot wait to meet our girls.

Luckily however we do have a little time left because we have yet to move. The painting in the new place is being done as i type this. Should be finished tomorrow. My bedroom furniture is being delivered on Monday, cable/computer/phone installed on wednesday. We are hoping to get the movers for wednesday or thursday. I really cannot wait to get in and settled. Then I'll finally be able to take a deep breath and have nothing more to worry about except meeting our beautiful little girls.

I'll post the new U/S pics as soon as I get to scanning them.
